At Aviva Investors we pride ourselves on bringing together talented teams of fund managers. We believe our UK Equity team comprises some of the most talented and experienced investors in the industry. The UK equities team is led by David Lis. The London based UK Equity team comprises of 11 talented investment professionals, of whom nine are portfolio managers with an average of 15 years investment experience between them. They are supported by specialist analysts responsible for specific sectors of the market.

Our analysts are sector focussed and have regular daily interaction with fund managers, encouraging a constant flow of ideas. Coupled with this expertise and experience is the fact that they can benefit from the resources and influence of one of the UK’s largest fund management organisations. This allows each manager and their team to gain access to the senior management of the companies they are potentially interested in. Such access gives us an added edge in uncovering value that others may overlook. It also allows us to take an active role in encouraging profitable change and development at the strategic company level.

Our fund managers have individual discretion and accountability for their portfolio, but all are underpinned by our common investment philosophy.
